I am honored to be a part of Photos for the Flood!

The lovely and talented Sarah B. Gilliam has graciously offered to organize area photographers in a benefit for the flood victims of Middle Tennessee. We are excited to participate with them and we want to ask you to help spread the word!

Sarah says:

Please join me, my favorite ice cream shop Pied Piper Creamery, and my fellow photographer friends in a benefit for the victims of the flooding.

The sessions are 20 minutes (booked every 30 min) from 9 AM- 5 PM on Saturday and from 10 AM-6 PM on Sunday. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Nashville Area Red Cross and Hands On Nashville.

Bring some props, bring a friend, bring a giving attitude!!!

Pied Piper Creamery will be donating 25% of their profits from this weekend to these organizations as well. So grab a homemade waffle cone with some homemade ice cream.

A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Brett Carter (who is currently running for U.S. Congress) and his sweet family. This is his adorable daughter Libby, whom I feel in love with.

My dear friend Nicole gave birth to her baby a few weeks ago and I am so thrilled to finally share these newborn photographs of sweet Clara, taken when she was only one week old. I absolutely love capturing this brand new relationship that can’t be described with words.

I love everything about this sweet baby girl and I am so excited to be able to watch her grow up.

Oh. My. Goodness! I have been so excited about sharing these images of baby Nora. Enjoy!

Here are two more Wall Collections that we offer for our Canvas Gallery Wraps:

Collection 1 includes a total of (9) 6×6 inch canvases. (Collection 2 is the same concept only larger: (9) 10×10 inch canvases. Each canvas would be hung with 1 inch in between to create this pattern.)

Collection 6 includes a total of 5 canvas gallery wraps: (4) 11.5 x 11.5 inch canvases and (1) 20 x 24 inch canvas.

Now, visualize Collection 6 flipped vertically. Am I rocking your world yet? =) We can do ALL kinds of variations to each collection which means we are only limited by our own creativity. Let’s go play!

Garrett is growing up so fast! Isn’t he just adorable?

Last Thursday we hung 11 canvases showcasing some of our favorite Fine Art images in East Nashville’s best coffee shop, Ugly Mugs. The canvases will be up through the end of April so go check them out and be sure to get some coffee too. They have the very best!

At Ugly Mugs, we also have some blank note cards for sale. Each set (4 cards) includes one of each of the following Fine Art Images currently on display: Steeple Top, Repeat, Perfect and Irish Cross. They are printed on recycled paper and come with white envelopes. Each set is $10 including sales tax. (I can also take orders by email if you can’t make it to Ugly Mugs.)

Last month Aileen and Lee got married in the new, quaint wedding chapel at the Brentwood Baptist Church. They were both so sweet and laid back, but so excited about the fact that they were getting married! Amy Parman, from C.J.’s Off the Square, did a fabulous job of coordinating everything. (We love working with her!)

Their reception took place at the gorgeous Brentwood Country Club. The details were beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious! For their wedding cake, Aileen and Lee chose to have lots of cupcakes made by none other than one of our 2008 brides, Megan who recently started her own business, Iced: A Cupcake Boutique. She is amazing! (You definitely should try some of her cupcakes!)

Canvas Gallery Wraps are my favorite! They can be hung individually or in collections (of which there are many varieties to choose from). This is the first of a few posts that show you what our Canvas Wall Collections look like.

Collection 5 -

This collection is shown with 1 inch margins between each canvas. It contains (2) 8×12 inch canvases, (1) 16×24 inch canvas and (1) 17×11 inch canvas. You will notice that there is a bit of a discount incorporated into the price of each wall collection. Right now we offer a total of seven different wall collections, but we are not limited to only those. We can completely customize something for every wall. I’d be happy to give you ideas!

What a cutie! Keegan was rockin’ some adorable smiles at his 6.5 month old session last week. I love how stylish he is too (thanks to his mommy who has great taste!)
