If I didn’t think it was too cheesy, I would drive around to each of your homes just to give you a big bear hug and tell you personally how much your business has meant to us. It is such a privilege to be a part of your lives and to be entrusted with creating beautiful images for you.

Baby Garrett is already 3 months old. Wow! He’s growing up so fast. I love how many different expressions I captured… he is so cute!

Garrett even fell asleep and took a quick nap. We must have tired him out.

Josh and Alix were referred to us by a very special, 2008 bride and groom. (Chris & Caroline, you guys rock!!) In their consultation we asked them to tell us about their wedding plans - especially the things they were really excited about. Josh’s answer really surprised us. He said, that one of the things he was the most excited about was their engagement session. How fun!!!

Even though we accidentally chose the coldest day to be outside, the two hours flew by and I couldn’t be happier with the results. These two were SO much fun to photograph!

I love portrait sessions that aren’t necessarily about any particular life event but “just because we want it”. How fun! These two are so cute together!

Most of the leaves around Nashville are now on the ground. Fall is coming to an end and I can’t believe we are in December already! Don’t forget to check out our facebook fan group for news on the LAST sale for 2009!

We ended our 2009 wedding season photographing the amazing Melanie & Clayton! As we began planning all of the details for the coverage of their October wedding, they made it very clear how important it was that we have lots of time for portraits before the ceremony. In fact, they even rented a trolley bus to drive the entire bridal party (plus us) to the four different locations Melanie had picked out ahead of time. For 2 and a half hours, we had complete creative freedom to do what we wanted. Cade and I were in “portrait heaven” and everyone was having a blast! So fun!

The ceremony took place at St. Andrew Lutheran Church.

The fabulous Boxwood Bistro hosted the reception. I absolutely loved all the details, from the modern table arrangements to the outdoor lighting on the balcony. Everything was perfect!

There adorable wedding cake was made by Puffy Muffin.

Clayton & Melanie: We had a blast working with you and your friends/family! It was a fabulous day and we am so excited for you both! Thank you again for fully trusting us and our creative ideas. You are a photographer’s dream!
