Last week we walked around Hillsboro Village for Beth and Ravi’s engagement shoot. What fun! I love going to new places and finding interesting walls/buildings/props to incorporate into an image.
It sure was hot outside that day (what’s new?!?) but it didn’t keep us from getting great shots of the two of them! You guys are just plain cute!! =)

One of my biggest goals right now is to provide lots of ideas for using images as decorations/wall art. For that reason I was THRILLED to receive an email from Pottery Barn with a link to the following images. Now I’m drooling over making one of our rooms look like this.

Last week I got to meet and spend some time with baby Rhodes and his parents. What fun! Rhodes just turned one and is full of life! He seemed to know exactly what to do in front of my camera which is always so funny to watch. You’re such a cutie!

A few weeks ago, Megan braved the 90+ degree weather for a pre-wedding bridal shoot. As I’ve said before we *heart* doing bridal sessions because there is more time to focus on the bride, her dress and beauty without the craziness of the wedding day.
We had so much fun with Megan and her sister. They even witnessed our “un-professional” accrobat skills which ended badly. In a nutshell: I was trying to get on Cade’s shoulders so as to have a higher perspective from which to shoot - yah, first attempt didn’t work so well and I ended up on the ground with a bruise to prove it. To add to that embarrassment, we soon found out that both Megan and her sister had been cheerleaders. I bet THEY could have done it without falling. =) Thanks for laughing with us girls!

This sure was a fun wedding!! Ken and Sarah tied the knot on June 28, 2008 in Nashville’s Downtown Presbyterian Church. Friends and family came from all over the country for this special event. Sarah wore her mother’s beautiful veil and her bouquet was one of my personal favorites so far this year. Angela did such a great job. The colors just “pop” against her dress.
All three flower girls made it down the aisle. That is my definition of success! =)
The reception took place at City Hall. What a great, urban venue!

Last week, right before all of the 4th of July festivities, we met Mary Beth and Jerod in downtown Nashville for their engagement session. We had a blast walking around to different, unique locations that were special to them. (If you are not from Nashville you need to come just to see some of these places!)
I loved working with these two! They were so natural, relaxed, fun and spontaneous in front of the cameras! And to top all of that off, they were just stinkin’ cute too!
