Last year we had the privilege of working with Ethan’s parents when they got married! I love when our clients return with their adorable babies!

I’ll admit it, if there were a 12 step program for facebook addicts, I would probably be admitted by none other than my baby, Cade. Sigh. Well, he probably wouldn’t do it, but facebook IS addicting! =) My main excuse for the hours I have spent searching, looking at and stalking my friends is this: in no other (single) place do I have contact with someone from each of the 12 different settings/groups/cities that I have been a part of throughout my young life. That’s right. I have facebook friends that knew me when I was born, others who watched me grow up, some who went to one of the 3 colleges I did, professional photographer friends and some that go to our church… to name a few of the 12. These friends span at least 5 continents which makes this daily connection all the more fun!!
IMHO, it doesn’t get any better than that… unless of course I could travel to Italy, Australia, Germany, China, Spain, Turkey, Chile, Argentina, Canada, Mexico and Ecuador everyday!

For the last few months I have been attending Wendy’s yoga and Christian meditation class. It is always such a good workout both physically and mentally. Needless to say, I was thrilled when she approached me about doing a session with her.
It was the coolest experience yet! The light was beautiful and we found amazing locations … everything just clicked (no pun intended! =)

Some recent headshots of a local lawyer…
Most of you probably don’t know that I was a music major in college. That’s right. I got my B.A. in Music. “La, la, la, la…” =) It was a good idea until I realized that I wanted to do something else with my life but by that point I was too far into being done to switch. Even though I hated it at times, I decided to stick it out. That last year was a test of endurance but I can proudly say: I finished! =)
I’d like to think that this difficult time made me a better person … =)
During my last two years, I studied along side some amazing talent! One of the best soprano voices in our department belonged to Liesl. From operas to musicals, she did it all and ruled! That’s right, she’s A-MA-ZING! She not only got her B.A. in Vocal Performance but will be graduating in May with her Master’s in Vocal Pedagogy. Wow!
With her up coming recital and new website, she needed some new head shots and I was happy to help out!

Last week, before I took a few days off to eat turkey and ham, I met up with this beautiful family to get some photos for Christmas. Since they live only a block from 5 points (which is a fabulous place if you’ve never been) we took advantage of the great, urban backdrops.

Last week I went down to Atlanta to visit my brother and his family. Since their two boys are growing up so fast, I wanted to spend some time with them to remind them who their “tia” is. It was so much fun to see them interact and even play together. Their smiles and little laughs are so contagious!
As always, I wanted to get some updated photos of these little guys so we headed outside… even though it was near freezing. =)
