Last week I headed out to Kingston Springs to photograph a lovely family! Jeremy and his wife won this portrait session at the benefit concert and silent auction we had for our friend Ruthie last year. UPDATE: Ruthie had the risky, neck surgery a few months ago and is recovering fabulously! We are so excited for her!

We had a wonderful time during our session. Isn’t their family super sweet?

I think I made a friend that day… little “batman” even invited me to stay to dinner. =)

Last weekend we traveled to Oklahoma to visit some of Cade’s family for a weekend on the lake. The weather was fabulous and we were so excited to see everyone again, especially our niece, Lyric! We hadn’t seen her since she was born and now she is 18 months old. Wow! She has gotten so big!

You sure wouldn’t know it from these pictures, but Lyric is actually very shy.

I can’t believe that little Caroline is already 2 years old! I have been photographing her (and her family) since she was a newborn. It is such an honor to watch little kiddos grow up around me. How fun! At two years old, Caroline is so full of life and loves to run around (which is great because she has 3 older brothers to keep up with)! I love how expressive and outgoing she is!

What. A. Cutie!

Last week I was in Atlanta visiting my brother and sister and their families. (I love living only 3 and half hours away from them which has not always been the case. We used to be continents away!) So each time I get the opportunity, I photograph my nephews who are growing up so stinkin’ fast. Yikes! Adrian is now almost 4 and Jonathan is 2. Ahhh… I love these little guys!

A few weeks ago I had the honor of photographing Brett Carter (who is currently running for U.S. Congress) and his sweet family. This is his adorable daughter Libby, whom I feel in love with.

I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner, which means Christmas is coming soon and 2009 is almost over. We are preparing to wrap up our fall season with one more set of mini sessions. There’s the 411:

What: a mini session is a 30 minute portrait session
Who: great for families, kids, a couple, a pet… you name it! Up to 4 individuals
When: Saturday morning, December 5th
Where: The mini sessions will take place in an urban setting complete with great brick walls and fun buildings
Cost: $50

All of the mini sessions will run back to back and take place at the same location. Each session will begin at the time scheduled and end exactly 30 minutes later. It is extremely important that you are on time since your session will begin and end promptly. Once the mini-sessions are done, we will schedule a personal viewing and ordering session so that you can place your print/canvas gallery wrap/album orders. No products are included in the mini-session fee.

Adorable family …

Sweet Leela just celebrated her very first birthday! I love her so much! 

Her mommy picked out her adorable outfit. Talk about amazing colors!

This session was filled with “high-fives” and lots of laughter. Izze and Lulah remind me of myself and my older brother. Life is so much fun and very entertaining with siblings! Aren’t they precious?

I have been photographing Bella since she was a tiny baby and I love watching her grow! She is now 2 and a half and has quite the personality. What a doll!
