Baby Avery is now 4 months old. I fell in love with her all over again…

Didn’t her mommy and daddy do a fabulous job decorating her nursery? Those pinks and antique browns are so gorgeous!!

Two years ago I had the privilege of photographing some of the first moments of my niece’s life. Since there was the need for an emergency C-section, I was not able to be present for her actual birth. But as soon as we knew everything had gone well, we anxiously waited to see her for the first time. My goal was to capture exactly what was happening around me, all of the expressions, feelings, and excitement!

I will now be available to photograph a limited number of “Births” and/or “Baby Meets Family” sessions. Please contact me for more details.

5 years ago this summer, Cade and I began our photography business. We photographed many weddings together and really enjoyed getting to know each bride and groom. As time went on, I began getting more and more “little people” clients and I quickly realized where my true passion lies. =)

I am SO pleased to announce that after many months of planning and preparation, we are switching the focus of our business to:

Baby and Children’s Photography

There is something about the innocence, laughter, curiosity, and utter cuteness of babies and kids that grabs my heart! And as you already know, we are expecting our own baby girl this June, thus the timing couldn’t be more perfect! =)

As we make this transition, there are two small changes that we are implementing immediately: 1) Upon booking your portrait session, the complete session fee is due in order to hold your date. 2) There will be a $30 rescheduling fee for any date changes that are not related to sickness or bad weather.

Both of these new policies will help me to schedule our business and personal lives in an efficient manner so that I can continue to provide each of you with the best service possible. I want to be one of Nashville’s favorite baby and children’s photographers, but I also want to be an amazing mommy to our daughter!

Earlier this week I got to meet a very sweet newborn, baby Eric! Two years ago, I had the privilege of photographing his older brother, Evan when he was just a newborn. It was so fun to be with them again!

My heart is melting.

Baby Clara is now 8 months old. For the first part of our session she was pretty serious. But then she warmed up and let those smiles out. What a cutie!!

I absolutely love seeing how much babies change between their photo sessions. Liam is now 9 months old. He’s growing so fast and his little personality is blooming!

Sweet Avery Grace was born just a few days ago. Each time I see a newborn baby, my heart melts. Literally. What an amazing and precious gift!
