wedding: Kimberly & Stephen

12.17.08

Our 2008 wedding season ended with Kimberly and Stephen’s wedding on November 29. With black, white and touch of light blue, their wedding was a “winter wonderland”. A Delightful Day once again did an amazing job taking care of all of the details to make their wedding simply beautiful.

The chapel was beautiful with the two brightly lit Christmas trees.

The cakes were amazing! So, so beautiful!

Kimberly & Stephen: We really enjoyed working with you both on your wedding day and we wish you the very best! Way to go!! =)

wedding: Shandus & Ryan

Shandus and Ryan got married on November 22, 2008 at Saint George’s Episcopal Church in Belle Meade. It was a lovely wedding and the church was beautiful! Ryan and Shandus were so pleasant to work with! We were able to even do a few photos outside even though it was very cold outside.

Here are just a few of my favorite portraits!

Shandus & Ryan: congratulations! We are so happy for you and we wish you the best!

We are so excited to have Beth & Ravi’s amazing wedding featured in Ashley’s Bride Guide. I am so humbled and thankful that Beth named us as one of her three favorite vendors AND as the best value for the service! Wow! She and Ravi cared so much about their photos that they gave us a significant chunk of time to take amazing portraits before the ceremony! We had never had a bride allow that much time for photos before. I love it!!!

Future brides: Read Beth’s interview and take her advice. It is well worth it!!

Beth & Ravi: your wedding was indeed a special day and we LOVED working with you! Thank you both so much!!

wedding: Michael & Hope

A few weekends ago we traveled up to Missiouri to shoot Michael and Hope’s wedding. Cade and Michael were roommates their senior year of college, which is also when Cade and I were dating and then got engaged. Now it was our turn to see Michael with his bride… SO in love with each other!

They were both so relaxed and completely trusted us and our ideas! We had a lot of fun shooting their portraits. Here are just a few of my favorites!

This is one of my all time favorite “bridesmaids” photos. They were having way too much fun! =)

Michael & Hope: Thanks for sharing your big day with us! We are so happy for you guys! Come visit soon! =)

Wedding: Beth & Ravi

What an amazing wedding!! Beth and Ravi planned an urban wedding at Aerial’s fantastic outdoor, rooftop venue on Broadway in the heart of downtown Nashville. All of the details were stunning! The preparations for the big day began at Hotel Indigo. Wow! What an incredible room! (Future brides- if you want a gorgeous backdrop for your preparation photos chose a hotel room like this!)

Just look at Beth’s shoes. I luv them!

Beth’s amazing dress was made by Maria Bishop at Romantic Creations. It was so beautiful!

We did all of the bridal portraits before the ceremony. As there was no bridal party, we got to focus exclusively on the bride and groom. How fantastic!

The ceremony and reception took place on a rooftop over looking downtown Nashville.

Reception: All of the desserts were home-made by Beth, her mother, sister and aunts. They were the best ever!!! Each one had a little note with the dessert’s name and who made it. So unique!

Once again the staff at A Catered Affair did a great job with the food.

The Steven Clawson Band had everyone dancing. It was a great party!

Ravi & Beth: You guys did such a great job planning your wedding. I am so impressed! Thanks for sharing your day with us!
