Bella Family

12.19.08

I love working with Bella’s family because a) they are good friends of ours and b) they are always open to my ideas. =) This year we did an urban, downtown Nashville family session to get ready for the Christmas season. I love, LOVE looking around Nashville’s streets and alleys for great spots for photos.

Look at the amazingly cute outfit Bella’s mom picked out for her!

Bella, you and your family are so bella. =)

little mr. Lucas

Lucas was only shy for about the first minute of our session. Then, he was full of energy and was having too much fun going up and down the stone stairways at Percy Warner.

What a sweet family!

It was a pleasure to meet and work with you guys! I’m excited about seeing Lucas again when he turns 2!

P.S. Misty - your referrals rock! Thank you so much! =)

East Nashville family session

12.02.08

Last week, before I took a few days off to eat turkey and ham, I met up with this beautiful family to get some photos for Christmas. Since they live only a block from 5 points (which is a fabulous place if you’ve never been) we took advantage of the great, urban backdrops.

I had a lot of fun with you guys! Thanks for hanging out in the cold. =)

From co-workers to friends

Here’s something that most of you probably don’t know: Before I became a full time photographer I worked as a translation project manager. I wasn’t planning to work in this field but because I grew up bilingual (speaking Spanish) it worked out great! Tanja, from Germany, and I worked together for almost 2 years sharing an office. It was a great experience and I loved getting to hear many funny stories about her kids. I miss being able to “chat” with her everyday and keep up with the family news.

We met last week to get some pictures of her kids and family … and here is the result.

This one just cracks me up!

It was so great to hang out with you guys!! Enjoy the photos!

Beauty-fall family

Last year I had the privilege of taking some Christmas photos for the Updike family and I was very excited when I was contacted again this year. (I love seeing how kids change and grow up so fast!) Last week we headed to Percy Warner Park for some fall themed family pictures… and I also got a few shots of the boys too.

Just look at this cutie!

I even got a half smile out of Cooper. =)

Thanks for spending part of your day with me so I could take some photos. I enjoyed it!!
