If you, or someone you know, will be graduating from high school in 2010, give us a call! We are looking for friendly and outgoing senior ambassadors who, in exchange for some amazing goodies, will help us spread the word about our senior sessions to their friends and fellow students.

Hurry! The summer is upon us!

A few weeks ago, Cade and I traveled up to Kansas City to attend the wedding of my dear friend, Danielle. Even though my main duty was “matron of honor”, I couldn’t help but bring my camera along to share my perspective of the events. =) The day began with brunch at an amazing, local diner. Then Danielle and I headed off to get her makeup and hair done. What a gorgeous bride!

Cade took over my un-official photographer role, so I could take a turn walking down the aisle, standing next to my friend and crying. I couldn’t help myself! =)

And of course, yours truly. Doesn’t Cade look ever-so-handsome?

Greg & Danielle: We are so happy for you both and we are so excited about the years to come of friendship! We love you!!

Sweet Caroline is growing up so fast and speaking of fast, I literally had run to keep up with her during our session the other day. =) I agree with her mother. She is probably the most active one year old I’ve ever photographed. It was a challenge but I am so happy with the images!

As we were ending our session, Caroline found a puddle of water. Because it was so hot and humid outside, her mama let her play. What an adorable face!

Thank you again for allowing me to make art for you!

What a beautiful day for a wedding! James and Chelsea looked amazing and you could tell they were both very excited about the day’s activities. We had so much fun working with them! They are both so sweet!

Here are just a few images from their day…

As a photographer I am constantly on the lookout for good products and tools to use in my business. Design Aglow has become one of my favorite resources when it comes to fresh ideas and great advice for photographers.

Recently, I submitted one of my “dirty little secrets” to DA for an article they were putting together. My secret was included in Issue No. 8, The Essential Issue, and can be found on page 59! How fun!

You won’t want to miss the interviews with Julia Woods or Jasmine Star or Huy Nguyen.

Last week many Nashvillians came out to Rocketown to support our dear friend Ruthie by attending the Benefit Concert and Silent Auction. Ruthie asked Cade and I to document the evening with photos. We were thrilled to take our gear and do what we love as a gift for her!

Fox 17 News interviewed Ruthie and also captured some footage of the concert.

There were many amazing musicians that played during the 4 hour event. You really should check out Brooke Waggoner.

Erin McCarley sang one of the most catchy tunes all evening, a special request from Ruthie herself.

For the first time, even though I’ve been a fan since I was a little girl, I saw Sixpence None the Richer live. So fun!

Leigh Nash still has the most amazing voice!

Will, Ruthie’s husband, plays drums for Sixpence and he did a fantastic job as always!

Towards the end of the evening, Ruthie expressed her gratitude to everyone for supporting her. She dedicated the evening to her father, who passed away a few weeks ago.

After the event, we found out that over $20,000 was raised. Awesome!!! We are so honored to be a part of such a close and giving community! We are also really excited to work with the family that won our portrait session through the silent auction!

Please keep Ruthie in your prayers as she and Will continue to look for a doctor who will perform her surgery!!

There are some serious dog lovers here in East Nashville. Beaudalaire and Ernie, our neighbor’s babies, are some of the cutest and most friendly pugs I’ve ever seen.

Girl, you are so precious and beautiful! I really had fun working with you! Best wishes as you head to OSU this fall!

Two weeks ago we photographed a very intimate wedding that took place at the bride’s parent’s home in Ashland City. It was a beautiful, outdoor setting and both Charity and Brian looked spectacular! Much to our delight, they decided to see each other before the ceremony so that we would have lots of time for pictures. As soon as we were ready to begin, the rain stopped as if on cue. Nice!

Someone at the reception whispered to me that Brian had been fiddling with his new wedding ring and I got closer to check it out. As he chatted with his family, he kept turning it around and around his finger. It was so sweet!

Brian & Charity: you were such a pleasure to work with and we really did feel like family! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such an important day!
