Baby Liam is now 6 months old! I am always amazed at how much babies change (even in 3 short months)!

Happy Tuesday, everybody!
A big thanks to each of you who participated in our 2010 Portrait Client Survey! I have really enjoyed reading the responses. Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughtful advice! We are truly blessed with amazing clients! In the near future we will be making some small changes in order to provide an even BETTER service!
As a “thank you” for participating, we had a drawing for a $75 gift certificate and the winner is… Sandra Webb! Happy spending!
If you haven’t joined our facebook group and would like to, come on over! You must “like” the page in order to officially be a part of the group so that you can read our updates in your live feed.
I’ll leave you with a quick preview of one of the projects that I’ve been working on. Full details coming in September when we get back from our trip!

I can’t believe that it is already time for our 3rd session in Clara’s “Baby’s First Year” package. She is no longer in mommy’s tummy, nor a tiny newborn. She is now 4 months old!
And she just keeps getting cuter and cuter!

I don’t know about you, but I think Tennessee summers are not for the faint of heart! Last week I tried to to beat the worst of the heat by beginning Camilla’s session at 7:45 in the morning, but I tell you, I was still drenched in sweat by the time we were finished.
Oh, well. Vanity be gone! And who cares since I’m not the one in the photos (looking adorably cute)!

Don’t you just want to squeeze her?
Baby Keegan is going to be a year old in a few days. (Happy 1st Birthday!) I can’t believe how much he’s changed since our 6 month session! His smiles and laughter are so contagious!

Last fall we had the privilege of meeting Jared & Michelle at Clayton & Melanie’s amazing fall wedding. They are all close friends and needless to say, I was thrilled when Michelle told me that they are expecting a little girl in October. How fun!!
For me maternity sessions are so special… such excitement and suspense in the air!

Whose bump is bigger? =)

I’m so excited to meet your little one!
Last week I headed out to Kingston Springs to photograph a lovely family! Jeremy and his wife won this portrait session at the benefit concert and silent auction we had for our friend Ruthie last year. UPDATE: Ruthie had the risky, neck surgery a few months ago and is recovering fabulously! We are so excited for her!
We had a wonderful time during our session. Isn’t their family super sweet?

I think I made a friend that day… little “batman” even invited me to stay to dinner. =)

Jeremy & Kierstin - thank you so much for an amazing morning!
Sweet Emma Ruth was 7 days old when I photographed her newborn session. Her mommy and daddy wanted to do a mix, some photos in their home and nursery, and some at our studio. Unfortunately, our A/C went out the day of her session so we had to postpone the studio shots for a few days.

And just in case there is someone out there who thinks newborns behave perfectly or sleep during an entire session… they do cry sometimes!

The studio shots: I absolutely LOVE family portraits like this!

Emma Ruth must have loved being in our 84+ degree studio that afternoon (which was on purpose!) because she fell asleep quickly and didn’t wake up until they put her back in her car seat to leave. I told them they could bring her back anytime to take a long afternoon nap in there. =)

This fireman’s helmet belongs to Garret’s daddy. He sure enjoyed getting his hands dirty… Isn’t he cute?

I can’t believe Garrett is already 9 months old and that we only have one more session (his first birthday) before we are finished with his Baby’s First Year portrait plan!
